GoDaddy reports earnings, Domain revenue tops $300 million

Domain revenue hits a milestone.

Godaddy (NYSE: GDDY) reported Q2 2018 earnings this afternoon.

The company’s revenue was  $651.6 million, up from $557.8 in the same quarter last year. Unlevered free cash flow was $154.7 million.

GoDaddy also upped its full-year revenue guidance to $2.645 to $2.655 billion.

Domain name revenue topped $300 million for the first time, coming in at $305 million. That’s up from $263 million in Q2 2017 and $292 million in Q1 of 2018. The Host Europe Group acquisition was completed at the start of Q2 last year, so the growth is mostly organic at this point.

The company partially credits a “broader and more liquid aftermarket” for some of the lift during the quarter.

GoDaddy reported that its customer base ended Q2 at 18 million customers.
